This is an original single colour linocut print created as one of four black and white prints exploring the landscape of the Peak District.  Undergrowth is a view of trees growing through rocks and the vegetation around it.

Undergrowth was selected to be part of the Royal Academy Summer Show 2025 (photo of it framed and in situe above).

The lino is reduced through carving into the artists' quality lino, removing the lino where I want the colour of the paper to show.  It is printed on 200gsm Kent Paper using safe wash Cranfield relief inks and all prints vary slightly because they are printed by hand.

Each print is signed and edition on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The print is made using archival paper and inks but it is important to display out of direct sunlight and it should ideally be framed behind protective UV glass.

The print comes unmounted in a plastic protective sleeve.
